Terms of Use
Last updated: September 17, 2026
By using Tartine, you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Farid Rehila, Nyon (VD), Suisse / Schweiz / Switzerland (hello@matartine.com).
1. The service
Tartine lets you share a link (reel, video, web page) and get a structured recipe: ingredients, quantities when available, steps and a link to the original content. The service may change over time.
2. Automatically generated recipes
Recipes are extracted automatically, including with artificial intelligence, from the public content of the shared link. They may be incomplete or inaccurate (quantities, cooking times, ingredients). Always check ingredients, especially if you have allergies or intolerances, as well as temperatures and cooking times. Tartine does not provide nutritional or medical advice.
3. Creators' content
Original videos, text and images belong to their creators. Tartine saves the recipe for your personal use and always shows a link to the original content. You agree to use Tartine for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Creators who want a recipe removed can email hello@matartine.com.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Tartine, including by automating bulk imports, bypassing service limits or trying to access other users' data. We may limit or suspend an account in case of abuse.
5. Subscription
Some features require a paid subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
6. Apple's terms
For the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, for the accuracy of generated recipes, or for service interruptions.
8. Account deletion
You can stop using Tartine and delete your data at any time in the app (Settings) or by emailing us. Subscriptions are cancelled through Apple.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Nyon (VD), subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. We'll let you know in the app about significant changes.
